Cardiff City Struggling For Ticket Sales According to

It is hard supporting a football club sometimes, especially when you’ve sold your soul, have a tw*t for a manager and play appallingly boring football and it seems Cardiff city’s ticket sales for the new season have showed just this.

It is fair to say that they are blessed with a lot of plastic fans but it seems even the allure of playing Premier League Football isn’t tempting these people to sit through 90 minutes of pure boredom.

They averaged a little over 20,000 fans in their promotion winning campaign last term, which was a 25% increase on their mid-table finish twelve months previous; so they managed to get 4,000 half hearted fans there but it seems not even the Premier League can take them that bit further.

Last time they were in the Premier League, where they finished with their highest ever finish of 20th (Swansea worst ever finish is 17th btw) Cardiff managed to have an average attendance of 27,429 but it seems these fans aren’t coming back.

One told us ‘To be honest, I only bought a season ticket for Cardiff that year because it was the only way I could ensure 100% that I could watch a Swans game! I couldn’t get a ticket to watch the Swans because they were sold out every game so when Cardiff went up (playing in red remember: because it was ‘lucky’) I got the season ticket just so I could watch the likes of Michu and Hernandez. I think loads did that’.

There are over 2,000 season tickets left to be sold! Plus there is obviously match day tickets so it looks likely that Cardiff will see the most empty seats in the Premier League next season. Incidentally there is still a waiting list for Swansea city season tickets………………

Feck me we must have some rich supporters . Are they trying to imply that the increase in season tickets from our last time in the premier was because of the Swansea game. .. They are deluded.!

I suppose it shows how thick some Swansea fans are. If they had never finished lower than 17th, they would be playing us in the PL this season. I guess if he had taken his shoes and socks off, he could have counted as far as 20 instead of 10.

Fair play, that is possibly the biggest load of bollocks I’ve ever read. Nothing in there is correct as far as I can recall - although it was never going to stick in the mind.

Was always going to happen though when some tit on here posts that we’ve still got 2000+ S/Ts to sell.

Will be interesting to see the crowd figures in the Championship at their massive club.

And I’m assuming the waiting list regarding their season tickets is for people trying to return them!

There were tickets available for Swansea that season and all the other seasons. Only Man U and Liverpool games sold out

I think they have also forgotten that we have increased our capacity so there will be more tickets available

Remember they have a capacity of 19-20k and 1st year relegated they would keep best part of 14k season ticket holders. Let see how many they got next year if struggling come renewal time??? We could easily fill 20k every home game in prem and decent amount of it in championship do not really an argument when their grounds no bigger than a bus stop

They can only dream of 30K plus crowds down West will never happen in my lifetime. Personally I think they will be fighting relegation next season.
