How many sold for Bournemouth?

Wed Jul 25, 2018 12:35 pm

Does anybody know? Any chance there will be any left as I can't imagine we had 1200 people go to 7 aways last season.

was told an hour ago that there are not many left and its unlikely they will drop the criteria down from 7 ..

Oh no thanks mate :( I live in Bournemouth now and can't even go. If anyone can get me a ticket I will pay over the odds or I will swap it for my seasom ticket for any of the big 6 at home

The criteria of 7 was set after reviewing the number of tickets available v the number of regulars from last season

The decision was that 7 was the lowest number where everyone who applied could be guaranteed to get one

Any left will literally be on a first come first served basis amongst those with 6 or more away games attended

If we (as individuals) didn't do that many last season, then (for whatever reason) it's down to us and not the club :ayatollah:

It's definitely the fairest way of doing it, the people going deserve it.

Shame we couldn't have played any other team in premiership first game as more of us could have gone then.

What I find hard to understand is way people want to go this year but not last.

Don’t get me wrong the more the better in my eyes.

But is it because they want to see the opposition and their ground because the away ends where empty last year.

Give me a lower league ground away day over top flight any day.

But the tickets went straight on open sale. I went to 16 away games last year but couldn't get a ticket for Burton. As it happens I cant make Bournemouth and neither can my son so that frees up a couple of tickets.

Followed by one of our closest trips to wolves with only 1,500 going. By what you are saying going on last year there be less than that at Huddersfield then.

Which is true (and fair, to an extent). However the people who haven't gone before are never going to get the chance if the current selling criteria continues.

How can you get to 7 aways if you can't buy a ticket for just 1 ?

Of course they are, do you honestly think we will sell 3,000+ tickets for Huddersfield? Even if we do the likelyhood is it will sift right down to an open market, these are the games people who haven't been can go to and build up a record so that in the future they can be elegible for the more glamorous games.

It's not fair to an extent, it's fair 100%, I don't see how it can even be questioned personally.

i havent got the criteria to go to Bournemouth but that really is my own fault.
you,i or anyone else could have gone away last season and to top that as the season went on and it looked like we might get promoted we also knew that should promotion happen criteria would be put in place for away games.
how can you get to 7..you cant..or 5..or3 you either did them or did not..
its a case of now waiting and if your keen ,going to less atractive games as and when they arise, which put you on the ladder.
going on our last adventure in the prem 3 of the first 8 aways did not sell out..Stoke..Palace and Hull..and after xmas only the derby game sold out.
interestingly enough there were similar posts to yours on here back then....but it seems it wasnt about an away ticket to watch Cardiff City in the prem it was about certain high profile games...
