Talking to a man Utd fan in great Yarmouth and he rates bamba but saysat 33 he's too old for the premiership. Myself I think as a defender he will back it in certain games but will prob have a few breaks in the season

I think it’s bizarre to say anyone 33 or above is too old for the Premiership as lots of players have performed well in the Premiership at 33 or above.

I do agree Bamba will back his ability in certain games, particularly against the bottom half teams. But I think just like the rest of our team, Bamba will do well in some games, be punished for a mistake or poor performance in other games and in some games, Bamba and the whole team will be totally outclassed. I just hope we win enough home games against the bottom half of the league to give us a fighting chance of avoiding relegation.

I won’t be surprised if Bournemouth are too quick and classy for us first game of the season. Our defence might potentially get taken apart by the pace of Callum Wilson and Joshua King and with no decent centre midfielders signed to help screen our defence, our midfield might be chasing shadows with Bournemouth’s slick passing and movement, which could leave Bamba and Morrison exposed.

I'm sure wez Morgan was no spring chicken when he won the Prem with Leicester.

Fitter than most 23 year olds is Bamba. He’ll be great, he’s a talisman and we need experienced players like him to keep the dressing room positive. Warnock wouldn’t swap him for anyone. He’ll play a big part for us this season.

Bamba will be a rock again for us in a lot of games, but when our current midfield are struggling to keep posession and we give the ball away too often then in the end our solid defence can only do so much and will get punshed in the end, the midfield i worry about
