What happened to Kasper Schmeichel?

What went on with his loan move to us in 2008?

If I remember right, he got recalled and then sent back out on loan again wasn't he? What were the reasons behind that?

Not sure the reason he went I believe he went to Coventry on loan

Played about 15 games for us

We was I believe at time looking at top 2. But Mark Hughes called him back (I think because Barcelona where interested). But obviously didn't materialise and was sent back out on loan.

According to Wikipedia lol he was recalled as one of man city's other keepers were looking to move in tranfer window in January, after the window he was loaned out again then

I seem to recall he was quick to depart but was later offered the chance to come back here and declined, stating he wanted to 'push' for the No.1 jersey at Man City before being sent out yet again

Liked him as a keeper and showed at Leicester how good he was to be
