Cristiano Ronaldo has rejected a £26.7m deal to stay at Real Madrid, according to Tuttosport.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, whose Portugal side were eliminated from the World Cup by Uruguay on Saturday, put his future at Real in doubt with his comments after their third successive Champions League triumph in May.

Tuttosport claim Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is plotting his client’s route out of Madrid, with Juventus preparing to enter the race for his signature.

A return to Manchester United or a move to big-spending Paris Saint-Germain remain possible options, should Ronaldo part company with Real.
