If he looks that good now just think what a good pre-season will do.Last chance of the big time for him?

Tomlin said that he was never fat, he just had protruding ribs!

Must have had a rib reduction operation over the summer.

Tomlin is a fantastic footballer, he’s looking lean there, I hope he’s given a chance and he said himself he wants to come back and have a crack at the PL.

I think he’s probably one of the only few players we have that could cut it in the PL.

I used to see Tomlin about a lot start of last season as I work where he used to live, believe it or not he always seemed small and quite slim in the flesh, very odd as on the pitch and telly he always looked overweight

His problem last year was his sentence, he couldn’t train hence he put weight on. Warnock did po My this out prior to shifting him out, the fact he spoke regularly to him suggested he would stay unless a big offer came in. He will be a different ball game next year, hopefully a very fit and decent addition.

He would HAVE to move and live somewhere near

Hopefully the penny has dropped, if he wants to play for us and deliver he has to prove it to NW.
Would be fantastic if he is knuckling down.

I don't see how his problem was his sentence. He didn't get a sentence which prevented him from training.

If you mean that the problem was that he had the court hearing hanging over him I understand that but it didn't stop him training surely?

Keep him he could do well in the Prem if on song and will be a valuable squad player. With his problems over maybe he can concentrate on his game.

Wait and see how he goes in pre-season games and training sessions. He has the talent And if mentally and physically right he could save us money in the transfer market.

See breathing in for the shot the fat f**k. Unless he comes back like a man possessed/reformed I think his days here are done. Even then I'd be surprised if he plays for us again.

I've admired him as a player for a while but he let me down big time Last year.

Totally agree here Nubbsy! When we signed him last season I was so excited but he didn't look fit or interested.

It did prevent him training, The Manager said himself this was his biggest issue, when he should have been training he had to do community service. Hence he plumped up to say the least. Then they couldn’t get him back to where he was so they banged out on loan.
