Who Do You Think Will Escape This Season's EFL Championship?
I think it will be Stoke 1st and Derby 2nd, and I think the final of the play offs will be between Bristol City and Milwall then it is a lottery

Aston Villa will just miss out on play offs due to money problems and selling there best players.

I think Swansea might, but the wrong way.

I think Stoke will run away with it

Stoke, Boro, West Brom and the gypos will be right up there.
I can’t see Bristol or Millwall being anywhere near challenging for promotion.

Boro for me, Pullis will have a good clear out and get them hard to beat and Stoke are the other obvious ones.

Can see Derby, Swansea struggling and unless Villa get a take over so will they.

Would like to see someone Brentford do well.

Middlesbrough and Wba for me.

Boro made a couple of decent signings and a good manager, and stoke, spent a little bit and keeping hold of someone like allan.

I'm going to have a punt on Birmingham City. I know there is the Gary Monk factor but after that final day favour I really hope they go up

I think its going to be a very tough Championship this season Sam. With that said im looking forward to seeing what unfolds. My pre season prediction would be:

1.West Brom Champions
2.Stoke Promoted
3.Derby
4.Middlesbrough Promoted
5.Nottingham Forest
6.Preston

As for other clubs like Villa i think with their ongoing issues they will finish mid table at best which could cost Steve Bruce his job. Shame really. As for Leeds i think they will probably do the same as last season.

Thats my view anyway.

If the season was to start tomorrow then put your money on Stoke and Boro for the top 2. For the play off spots there are quite a few teams that could make it more so this season due to the financial troubles at the clubs you would fancy doing it like Villa and Derby. Take Forest for example who have been in the shadows of their main rivals Derby. Well don't be surprised to see the Forest supporters shouting at the wannabee Sheepshaggers "Mind the Gap". FFP has finally coaught up on Derby at last.

For me there are some unfancied teams that could make the play offs. The only ones I would put my money on are the Jacks. I also think the Wurzels and Bushwackers will kick on from last season and get closer to a spot specially the Londoners. Then there are a few other teams that have built their squads up from last season that will kick on, the Blades come to mind here. I would put Leeds behind these lot.

You have an excellent manager now and he will be given the money. However the uncertainty is he does not know the Championship and many a manager of his calibry have failed in this league. Personally I think it would be a risky bet putting money on Leeds.
