Sat Jun 30, 2018 5:37 am

goalkeepers
etheridge, smithies, camp, murphy, wilson

cb manga, bamba, morrison, connolly

lb bennet, cunningham

rb peltier, richards back ups (patterson harris connolly)

cm ralls okeefe damour

lw hoilett, murphy, (pilkington)

rw mendez lang, harris

attacking midfielders/secondary strikers reid, tomlin, patterson,( pilkington)

cf zahore madine ward bogle healey

the squad is looking well balanced now, assuming we bring in grujic, gunnerson signs another contract and we get a good loan striker, for me centre mid is good enough but possibly a player short if we are going for 2 quality players in every position
i think bogle healey tomlin okeefe camp and murphy or wilson will either go out on loan or be sold on but i hope we keep tomlin and pilks cos they offer something different from the bench

We can only have 25 in the squad so assuming another two players coming that leaves quite a few of your list not in the squad

its not my list lol its the first team squad as it stands today, there will be 3 of 5 goalies and i guess damour okeefe bogle healey tomlin and pilkinton will move on, would like the last 2 to stay but doubt it so that leaves a current squad of 22 gunnerson and grujic or 2 other centre mids and a loan striker will take it up to 25, and i think for the budget hes got to work with warnock has given us a well balanced squad. The biggest problem will be scoring goals not leaking them so i can see why he spent big on Reid and Murphy
It is disappointing we dont have anyone coming thru that could give us a few more numbers as under 21s but as a watcher of the developement teams when i can at this moment theres not.

If Wales Online were correct in their article on squad contracts from April (although they missed out Matty Kennedy!), Ben Wilson's contract ends today.

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/foo ... t-14536375

He goes with the other out-of-contract players not offered a new deal: Kennedy, Halford, Guonongbe and Meite.

No news yet on whether Brian Murphy and/or Gunnar have accepted the new contract offers?
