Totally agree. I was just about to start a similar thread. We desperately needed extra pace up front like Leicester/Liverpool
because that does get you results particularly playing counter attacking football like we are likely to be doing.

All three signings have great pace. The addition of this pace will make us a frightening counter attacking team.

We have so many attacking options options now its quite exciting. Any combination of Murphy, NML, Hoillet, Murphy and Zohore will certainly excite us.

I do feel we need someone in midfield with some guile who can find these players as they make runs.

Usually we labour over signings and end up struggling and leaving it late. These early signings will have time to settle in the city and have plenty of time get to know the coaches, staff and other players.

I must be honest and say that the club seem to have a very clear direction and transfer policy that is a credit to their vision and pragmatism. We are thankfully way beyond Malkys 'dossier' nonsense.

You’re quite right about pace and it’s a great thing to have in our team especially if we’re playing more of a counter attacking game but the players have to be able to play at this new level as well. I’m a bit concerned about Murphy who the Norwich fans didn’t seem to like very much. Lots of boo’s and heckling from their home fans apparently.
