Didn't have a great WC, can't really see anyone coming in for him from the Premier League so the questions is do Cardiff say 'thanks but no thanks' and withdraw any offer that was on the table, or keep the offer there and hope he signs.

For me we didn't miss him last season and i think we need more bite in the middle of the park this season, plus he seems to be prone to injuries as of later and although he has been a 100% player for City for me i would prefer his wages to be used on a 'fresh' signing.

When you look at what we currently have in midfield he’s easily a player we still need.

I don't think he would be happy as a 'bit part player' - i would love to see Grujic back on loan and another midfielder who loves a tackle to allow Ralls to do what he does best.

If we have him I don't see Warnock putting him on the bench, that's my biggest concern.

We need 3 CM's in my opinion and Gunner shouldn't be one of them.

I'd still keep him at the club, good leader on the pitch and could still do a job as a defensive midfielder. I worry about injuries with him now though he's had a few the last couple of years. Be a useful squad player!

its not all about the tackle though..its about marking spaces and making it difficult for your opponents best player to get the ball in dangerous areas..thats what he does / is instructed to do when both playing for Iceland and in our bigger games.....with the ball { 30 seconds a game } he really isnt the best, without the ball { 90 odd minutes } he is our best midfield player at being disciplined and sticking to his task of nullyfying threats as opposed to going on runs and doing his own thing.
