Seems to be Warnock is buying the best players in the championship. Those too good for the championship with hunger and desire to succeed in the PL with high work rates.
It’s great to see the hierarchy putting their eggs in two baskets.
I’m all for this approach. What are your thoughts?

Good to see however I would like us now to see 2-3 experienced players

Over the moon myself. Players with a point to prove. Not just here for the wage

It's exactly the way I wanted us to go. Possibly paying a bit more than ideal but to be expected in today's market

Exactly the same way Burnley did it.

That hasn’t worked out to shabby.

You need to remember though, Burnley got relegated in their first season in the prem under dyche, then he got them promoted again and look at them now...
I cant imagine the Cardiff Fans having the same amount of patience with NW!?

I see your point but having top championship players will see us okay for next season (providing they all stay) if we get relegated.

Exactly what I meant. You go down with parachute payments and hopefully return very quickly and get Premier League money again. Your coffers expand and you can afford better quality to help stay up.

Agreed, I just hope we all show patience if it doesn't all go to plan next season.

I don't think Warnock is looking at building a team to cover us for now and if we get relegated. Not a chance. He may get sacked before even having a chance in the championship.
He's only thinking about this season and what he needs to to stay up.

He’s bringing players he knows and likes , who he thinks will fit in. Gone for quality Championship players who are all desperate to show what they can do at the top level.
It might work, it might not, but at least he’s been allowed to do it his way.
We will be underdogs again and in many ways that’s the way I like it

NW and the backroom boffins are doing stellar business and planning for the future. Drop a league and you have a crackerjack Championship squad to get back up before the parachutes stop. I'd have NW here forever whatever league we are in as he's full on and that's all Bluebirds want.
