Certainly fits in with the critique /formula of signings thus far.
Young, hungry players who are not going to break the wage structure, but could do a turn if the worst case scenario means Championship next season.
Only 23 yo, but already over 200 games in EFL,so must be doing something right to have that many games under his belt already.
Turned down chance to go to Liverpool as a youngster, choosing Tranmere instead shows he wants to play regularly.

George Honeyman, 22 yrs old with a year left on his contract and a handful of Prem games under his belt with Sunderland. Given their relegation to League one I’d snap him up even as squad central midfielder.
