Our fellow Europeans. Put them firmly back in their place for the sake of everyone else around Europe and of course our fellow celts
It's about time their demise started again

Here's hoping. God forbid they ever win it. We'd be hearing about it every game for the next 60 years

Have you not been looking at the draw. England losing gives them a better chance of getting much further into the tournament.

The loser tomorrow will make the semi finals in my opinion. Would have a relatively simple route to the last four. While whoever wins the group would be likely to play Brazil in the quarters.
Neither of them want to win the group now, both are making a few changes tomorrow. Could come down to the drawing of lots if it’s a draw and England have one more booking than Belgium.

The games where both teams have qualified and the winner will have harder draw are awful. No one wants to win and spectators have to watch a dull non event.Should make it that winner plays lower seeded team in next round then you’ll have a meaningful game with something to play for.

f**k sake what a brilliant idea. Like the top team in group G plays the second place team in group H or something.

Should just be a random draw. Once the groups are done should put all group winners in one pot and runners up in another so you could play any runner up from any group.
Once the round of 16 is over just a random draw for the quarter and semi final

i think its difficult logistically to do that. theres only 1 day gap between the groups and the KO starting, theyd have to manufacture the days and times the ties were played.
its doable though, and a good idea. England would be foolish not to want to win the group anyway, 2 years ago should have taught them there are no easy games

no i dont think it is doable...as it stands the teams that qualify the earliest are those that play their round of 16 first.it really wouldnt be fair on either Belgium or England to be drawn against Spain or Rusia with the game on Saturday with a 4 day differential in rest days.and what a nightmare for fans, France was bad enough ,cant begin to imagine the nightmare of 8 possible destinations spread over 4 days possibly playing within 2 days...the only way would be to extend the tournament..
personally dont see much wrong with winners of 1 group playing runners up from another..

Good points chaps, it was just a fleeting thought tbh but your right it would be a logistical headache

100% mate, there's no easy games, but I think anyone would be happy to be in their shoes now if it was them, they have a fantastic chance of getting to the Semi Finals.
