PREM CLUBS INTERESTED IN MENDEZ-LAING

Burnley are among the clubs to have expressed an interest in signing Nathaniel Mendez-Laing from Premier League newcomers Cardiff, say Sky sources.

The winger scored six goals in 38 appearances last season to help Cardiff win promotion, having been playing in League Two just two years ago.

However, sources close to Cardiff have told us that the player won’t be allowed to leave – and we understand talks are due to begin on extending his contract.

He was amazing first five games, if he can keep fit and sort his medicines he can still play a big role for us this season !!!

No no no no no! He must stay with us! If he leaves will then have to find another player to match or better him! I like Mendez Laing and don’t want him to go!

I think with all of his summer fitness training- NML will be the standout performer for us before the coldsnap! He’s nailed on for my fantasy team until late October

If we sign another winger i think he may well go if a decent bid comes in.

Hoilett, Murphy, Reid, Ward and Harris would be more than enough cover out wide especially if one more comes in.
Then you have pattersson who could also play there.

If we signed Murphy for 10mill and got the same money for Mendez it would be a good swap imo

I can see NML having a good season. I can't see us selling any of our players of a good age, a decent season next season and their value doubles.

If we sign another winger i think he may well go if a decent bid comes in.

He's far better than Ward and Harris. Maybe Burnley would like to nab those.
