Former Cardiff City academy player Joe Jacobson has signed a new 2 year contract extension with Wycombe Wanderers after another impressive season.

Manager Garerth Ainsworth commented: "I’ve said many times that for me, 'JJ' is one of the best – if not the best – left-back in the lower leagues and we know exactly what we get with him. He’s an excellent defender, he gives us a fantastic weapon going forward with his deliveries into the box, and he’s another one whose knowledge and experience of higher levels will help us adapt quickly to League One.”

Was surprised to see that he will be 32 later this year. In my mind I somehow still had him as a relative youngster.
