If we go down we need to bounce straight back up and the players he is bringing in will allow us to do that.
Why do people want us to blow a load of money on what would be a gamble after all our previous financial issues.
I would rather Warnock build a quality young squad which is too good for the championship and bounce for a few years than pay over inflated prices on big names and be in trouble again.

Past years promoted clubs have come back down and only the ones who keep their best players have gone straight back up but times have changed and now managers are planning for both scenarios as is NW that to me is good management and preferably do it his way than mm way? I find it annoying that people quote what they think they've heard to get a point across.NW at any time hasn't said he's not good enough to manage in the prem."Not a fair crack" is the expression that comes to mind.The premier league is full of players from lower leagues that were given a chance by a manager the most famous at the moment must be Vardy.

Would they de harmonise our squad (probably)
Teams who are guaranteed to stay up next season
The likes of man utd , man city ,pool ,Chelsea,Spurs etc will be buying and paying Thier players in wages more than we can afford to pay to buy a player ffs
It has to be a minimum 5 year plan
First year survival
2nd year survival
3rd year couple of places above survival 14 th would be good
4th year if still on target just outside 10th
5th year dream dream dream top ten

It is vital that we invest in this first year. The rewards of staying up (200m) far outweigh the thought of being frightened to invest 40-45m of the 180-200m that your are going to get. That’s why ‘big clubs’ in the Championship invest so much to try and get up. I don’t agree with some fans who say it’s ok we will just bounce straight back up. It took us over 50 years to get there the first time! What’s the point of achieving promotion if you don’t give it a realistic chance of working. There is no such thing as bouncing straight back up, it rarely happens. I would rather invest wisely and hold onto the Premiership. Think we need to bring in a couple of quality midfielders and a striker and possibly a right back. It is vital that you survive the first year.

I can’t argue with that, but we could the players we need for maybe a bit less, and NW is a master at getting value for money, as you say time will tell.
