Danny Ings available ......

Would be worth a punt if we could match his wages and Liverpool's valuation.

Would love him here but he'll go to a top half club or back to Burnley!!

Just what we need

I think this would be a great buy for us wages permitting. For some reason I thought he was much older than 25 but I think he’ll have bigger fish to fry than us.

He’s on about 80k a week isn’t he? Unfortunately wages would be the issue

It is clear Klopp rates him as he sent Sturridge out on loan instead of Ings - i feel at some point 1 of the 3 attackers Liverpool have will move on to Barca/Real and that will allow Ings the opportunity to grab a starting berth.

For me a season long loan with City would be a great move for the kid, lets him go and play first team football at a club that will allow him to play every game and get game time whilst allowing Liverpool to retain his services and see where they are in 12 months

Firstly he would cost too much and wages too high

Secondly he is completely injury prone and hasn’t played regularly for 3 years

This is not the type of signing we are after

I would be very surprised if Warnock doesn’t go to the championship again to sign a striker

Brooks from Sheffield Utd would be my guess, it’s no secret Warnock is a big admirer

Brooks is a very promising young player but right now he doesn't start more than 50% of Sheffield Utd matches. I'd be all in favour of buying him but a more established striker is needed before potential if we are to make a fight of staying up.
