Greg Evans:
“It took him a while to get started as he lacked match fitness when he arrived, but after a short settling-in period, his form started to improve by early October and by the turn of the year he was changing games single-handedly.
“He chipped in with important goals and plenty of assists - the second-most in the division by the end of the season.
“Snodgrass was well liked, spoke passionately about winning promotion and returning to the Premier League, and was the joker of the pack.
“He played right-wing for the whole season and forced Albert Adomah out to the left because he was so important.
“He faded out of form towards the end of the season and lost his creative spark but still turned out whole-hearted performances and never gave up.
“Strengths: Never-say-die attitude, experienced, likeable, quickly fits into new surroundings.
“Weaknesses: Looked tired towards the end of last season, will need to improve to if he’s going to record the same stats as last term in the Premier League.”
