well done Vincent Tan

Thu Jun 07, 2018 9:01 am

Reading up on Aston Villa and the huge mess they are in, I think it's time supporters such as myself really start being thankful to have an owner that has not landed us in the dung pile. Tony Xia has stopped pumping money into Aston Villa.

Without mentioning the past too much, we have to put that down to not understanding a rebrand will cause huge resentment.

I'd just like to say well done Vincent Tan for getting the right people to run the club and last year's unexpected success :notworthy: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Time to move on and sell, but to be fair to Tan he has been trying to sell for the last two years, if he had not run the debt so high he could of moved on.

I believe he will now be able to sell :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Tan did get us up in BLUE & Yes I enjoyed last season :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Don't think it needs to be said with such vigour.

I know the past will never be forgotten for many but I'd assume the rhetoric would at least subside to a standard "go now" when you see what he has done since.

Dont want and dont expect him to go anywhere now. I accept his apology and its time to move on. Dont need any bad shit going around the club this time round in the prem. Lets forgive and forget and look forward to the future and hope its a bright one

He will sell as to much risk running a club like ours! cannot see us sustaining premiership football with present setup needs a bold approach regarding next manager if we do manage to stay up this season, as for the debt yes annis lot down to his niavity but at end day hes kept us afloat before that which no-one Can deny upwards and onwards. :bluescarf:

Re: well done Vincent Tan

You can make a long list of owners who promise the world and deliver next to nothing, so many clubs in a disastrous state. Even if we hadn’t gone up I think the club were doing it the right way trying to reduce the debt. Everyone keeps saying now about the 200m we get for going up but a lot of clubs struggle when they go down as did we.

Yes the red was a disaster but as a club we have moved forward, we can’t keep looking at the past. Im happy with the way the club is now being run so im more than happy to have Tan remain at the club, infact I would be disappointed if he left. Onwards and upwards I say.
