Madine for Wagner

If we sell Gary Madine (Which considering his bad luck at the club, and also the reports of him being really upset after particular games in the season ON TOP of not really celebrating with the team too much (atleast from pictures and media etc). If we could sell Madine back to Bolton for a couple mil so they get their favoruite striker back and we atleast get a couple of mil from him.

That 2 mil or so could really help with the purchase of someone like Sandro Wagner. Who scored 12 goals in the Bundesliga last season. He is reportedly on a transfer value of 12m, so if we do sell Madine he would in theory cost us about 10m. I'm not sure of his wages but I can't imagine they're too much even if he does play for Bayern Munich. He's 30 years old now and is not much of a starter for Bayern. Thoughts? Because he would essentially be a direct replacement for Gary Madine but somebody who has first division experience and alot more quality than Madine.

I don't think we will be paying big fees for anyone that age. Warnock has often said about how he talks to Tan about resale value and that's why he was allowed to buy Patterson injured. I fully expect anyone we sign for decent money to be of a good age with a resale value.

Spot on mate they have to have re sell value especially when spending big money, if that player has a good season then we could potentially male a profit, or maybe just a small loss if the player doesn’t play that well, but a player of 30 will bring next to nothing on re sell.

If you telling me where going to sell Marine your presupposion Warnock admitting he made a mistake in buying him in the first place,my advise to you is don't hold your breath

Got loaned to us after his horrible leg break injury just to gain fitness.

If That injury didn’t happen, we wouldn’t of had him back on loan as he was right in the first team picture at Arsenal.
