I wouldn't say so mate, obviously his connections are going to come in handy, BUT from Liverpool's perspective if they have players who they genuinely believe have a future with them then loaning them to a Premier League Club is going to be far more beneficial in the long term for their prospects than them playing in the SPL.

I'm sure Gerrard will pick up a few but I don't think he will have a 'free reign'.

No argument needed. The Championship is a far higher standard than the SPL. Honestly don’t think even Celtic would make the play offs with their current double-triple winning side - anywhere from 6th to 10th for me tbh. As for the rest, relegation battles.

So, back to the OP, don’t see Liverpool loaning anyone but young players to the SPL to simply gain experience.

The two loan rule in the premier league only applies to domestic loans. So we could loan 2 players from other prem teams and still be able to loan from other countries.

In the loans rules i was thinking more on the lines of rangers been able to take 3 4 or 5 players from one club mainly the 3 i mentioned from Liverpool as opposed to what an english prem could do .

Surely Klopp would want his players to gain Prem experience and potentially take points away from his rivals.
