It’s not really any better Is it ???

I like the mini boxes and the fact they are not wired and quite small, but he system itself seems a bit worse?

Any thoughts ??

I was about it ask this actually. My offer is due expire so about to do the whole I'm cancelling what can you do for me and thought about asking for Sky Q chucked in but wondered if its worth it.

I keep reading about it but still not sure what it is. All we want is a box downstairs and a box upstairs.

I’ve just got it, the mini boxes are really good just small neat and don’t need cables from the satellite box, and you can record more than two shows at once while watching others.

I’m not fussy on the remote and the functions are different it doesn’t seem so slick, but maybe someone who’s had it ages will say it gets better?

It is ultra HD too but not many programmes yet but apparently BBC will show the World Cup games but not sure if that’s true?

I got it for an extra mini box so three boxes in total which is useful and no extra monthly cost,

The other downside I can see is we used to have two separate boxes so I can find stuff just I like in one room, while the Mrs soaps and rubbish stuff was on the other, now they are all on the main box!

I love it. A lot better than Virgin’s equivalent (I think)

Some of the stuff however is only what you can get with a decent smart TV

I’ve been offered it for a free upgrade but haven’t really looked into it.
Have you got Sky mutiroom? I think you can get it for free if you have.

I did and yes it was free, I had an extra box that was £75 one off payment no extra monthly charge that’s why I got it

So went from two boxes to three

Another good feature I’ve just found by chance is while tidying up cables I put the small box behind the tv on the wall mount so it can’t be seen and the remote still works which is useful and neat do no cables showing at all

Mostly Pro's from me just a few cons at times.

Multi room is a massive improvement. You can watch different shows on different boxes at the same time.

Record 5 or 6 programmes while watching another. Probably too much really.

All Mini boxes can access the main box so all programmes are on the main box and accessible anywhere including I pass and phones.

Amongst the cons. All the boxes work on their own internal mesh network and if you have a bigger house or thick walls they sometimes don't link up. Only two mini boxes can play different programmes at once but should be okay on most occasions.

You will soon be able to watch your Netflix account on it. It Already has YouTube and Spotify.

Is there a way you can start a recording from so many minutes in. On HD I used to start three minutes in to miss the adverts but can’t see how to do it on Sky Q ?
