Fulham full-back Ryan Fredericks will be new West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini’s first signing next week, after agreeing a four-year contract.

The Hammersmith-born defender’s contract expires at the end of this month and he had failed to reach an agreement about a new deal with the Craven Cottage club, who are back in the top flight following last Saturday’s Championship play-off Final victory over Aston Villa.
