Not doubting his ability but I think he would cost over 8mill and for that type of money its just not worth the risk.

He signed a new contract with Sheffield United last October - taking him up to summer 2021. That put his price up.

Transfermarkt rate him as worth 5m Euros. In the current market double that seems more likely.

I would love to see us sign him.

After a full season in the Championship, and the international breakthrough, I expect him to cope with the Premier League. He's not a kid any more. He will only improve (and increase in value). If we do get relegated he would be the type of player to help us back up.

On top of all that he can keep a football, and is the type of player that would allow the team to evolve from a direct style to a direct style with a Plan B.

I think these are the type of players we will be looking at, good young players with a resale value and who will stick by us no matter what the league.

Im not saying we won’t sign a few players proven at prem level but I think we will be looking at your Brooks and Johnstone, people who have done well in the championship and want to prove they are ready for the step up.

Depending on the price I think it would be a great signing.

Think 8 million with add ons would be worth it.
If we stayed up and he excelled I’d expect him to be 20 mill plus.
After all grealish is reportedly worth 40million !

One of the best prospects for wales in years a boy who is not afraid to take people on and makes things happen you need someone like this not just somebody that passes forever neil rates him these are the sort of players we need hungary for the ball and his value is just going to go up and up every time i have watched him for wales and sheffield he really stands out he had some illness like glandular fever for sheffield which sidelined him for a month or so but came back and got over it sheffield fans love him when he has the ball and goes on a run i would sign him at the first opportunity and the prem wouldn't phase him at all because he plays without fear of f...ing up

No thanks. We are now in the Premiership and can not afford t ‘gambles’. Need players with experience playing in the Premier League. May be good enough in the future but wouldn’t put him in the category of a Premier League player at the moment.

He's an excellent prospect, but would prefer Harry Wilson (even on loan for a season).

Nothing to do with him being Welsh, he's got genuine footballing ability do much do the Blades feared/know they are set to lose him so gave him a 4 year deal.
