100% would say we need a new GK. Etheridge is solid but most Prem teams now a days have 2 top Keepers. IF Etheridge is out/off form, we've only got Brian Murphy.

These 2 are definitely the type of player we should be after. With talks of Liverpool picking up a new GK they'll have the new one, Mignolet and Karius - so Danny Ward could be available. Manchester City have a few keepers and so perhaps we could take Angus Gunn on loan. And Dean Henderson has been very consistent for a while.

Yes, he is Bryan Gunn's son He had a very good season at Norwich, still only young so will get better. I could see him starting ahead of Etheridge.

Too raw for me but definitely could learn a thing or 2 from joining us. Neil deserves a chance to shine in the Prem, he was outstanding at times last season.

Yes he is. I met Bryan Gunn in the hospitality suite for City’s home game against Norwich last season. Nice fella and a top goalie in his day.
I like the look of Angus and would take him to battle it out with Etheridge. The only problem is his lack of premiership experience as he hasn’t played once for Man City.
He’s played at every level for England I believe and was even called up to the first team squad last year. I think he’s destined for big things.

Tim Krul is reportedly on between £40 - £50 k a week, there's no way he's gonna be seen at the CCS more than once next season.
Wayne Hennessy however is reportedly on £20 k a week, that's a distinct possibility.

Krul has played very little football over the last few years not sure he can demand 40k a week anymore..

No offence to the OP but these goalkeeping posts are getting proper tedious now.

There must have been about 50 threads over the last few weeks all saying the same things.

People on here seem to forget Camp is still under contract,who is going to take him? My guess he will be our No3 and we’ll sign another keeper to compete with Etheridge, I’d go with Hennessey! Murphy out of contract so he’ll go?

Buying Marshall back wouldn’t cost much. Should cover us, and keep it low end.

I tend to agree.

We need someone who can compete with Etheridge or better him.

Vorm left the Jack's 4 years ago now and has played 11 games.

Marshall ain't going anywhere as who will pay his reported 45k.

I remember when we signed Camp I was saying he would never be first choice and it was a poor signing because he conceded 100+ goals the season before. But literally everyone on here said I didn’t know what I was talking about. Never plays for us, gets slated for being very bad for Sunderland. But I didn’t know what I was talking about apparently ! Ha

People need to let Marshall go. I don’t really like it when players come back and he’s been absolutely shocking for Hull.
