According to my sources (SkySports ) Paul Heckingbottom has been sacked by Leeds United and will be replaced by Marcelo Bielsa. What an appointment that would be, I remember he was touted to replace Malky.

Paul Heckingbottom has been sacked as Leeds head coach after less than four months in charge at Elland Road, according to Sky sources.

Reports had earlier linked former Argentina, Athletic Bilbao and Marseille manager Marcelo Bielsa with the role and it is understood that Heckingbottom has now left the club.

Even the armchair Leeds fans I work with, are getting embarrassed by the actions of their owners.

They are a joke of a club who treat their managers like dirt but have to end up paying them big pay off's when they are sacked.

I know, new owners said they'll put an end to the chopping and changing. 3 managers in 1 year later....

Paul Heckingbottom has been sacked as Leeds head coach after less than four months in charge at Elland Road, according to Sky sources.

Reports had earlier linked former Argentina, Athletic Bilbao and Marseille manager Marcelo Bielsa with the role and it is understood that Heckingbottom has now left the club.

The 40-year-old left Barnsley to take up the job in February and guided Leeds to a 13th-place finish in the Sky Bet Championship.

However, Heckingbottom guided Leeds to just four wins in 16 games after taking charge.

Heckingbottom succeeded Thomas Christiansen, who left the club on February 4.

..it was 99% done..then 99.1%..then 99.2% etc etc ..then he went to Villa.

Yeah exactly, Villa never even mentioned. He said we had big transfer fee agreed, wages agreed , deal nearly completed. Then he joins Villa on loan Amari'i Bell was the same, he said Bell was nearly done then he goes and joins Blackburn!

Surely this must one for a 'Question of Sport' future programme...
