The festival is mainly for the gay community but well worth a visit love.

If you are keen I’ll ask around with the others for you.

You will have a blast down there lads, the old wetherspoons the London Inn is a Yates now but nice big open boozer, probably good for a meeting point etc, if the weather is nice the Offshore Bar is nice by the Harbour, but there are a few bars around there so you can take your pic. Cafe Mambo used to be class, but it had closed down last time I went, if someone has re-opened it that's decent, over a few floors rooftop terrace. The Apple and Parrott is decent, few bands in there at times, there's loads of places you will have a blast, Park Lane etc.

There's a bar attached to the ground aswell which is a fair size, if there's a few of you I'd get a cab rather than walk up the hill

I'v got to be honest, for the fella who said they are staying in Paignton, that's probably a bad move, it's a shit hole, you got The Talk of The Town and a few others bars but I'd cancel and re-book into Torquay if I was you, save you the hassle of cabs backs and forth.

The wetherspoons is called the green ginger now it also has a revolution bar underneath which is cheap on fridays.

The bar at the ground is called boots and laces but not much around plainmoor . As you said much better to stay down the seafront

Shame about mambos great place but I've not been down for about 3 years. Great around the harbour having so many pubs/clubs so close.

I'm looking forward to this one, booked a couple of nights in the Imperial in Torquay, a bit pricey but it was the only way to convince the wife.

She was really pleased when I told her I'd booked a weekend away on the English Riviera, she didn't believe me when I dropped in the fact that we were off to a football match. She'll get over it! :D
