LEICESTER PONDER £40M GREALISH MOVE
Leicester are considering a bid for Aston Villa’s highly rated midfielder Jack Grealish, SSN understands.
With Riyad Mahrez closing in on a £60m move to Man City, Leicester have the funds to strengthen their resources in midfield and believe the 22-year old would be the perfect fit.
SSN also understands that both Arsenal and Man Utd have monitored Grealish’s form in recent months.
Villa are keen to keep hold of the talented former England and Ireland U21 international, but appreciate that may be impossible after their Play Off final defeat confirmed another year in the Championship.
Grealish has two years left on his contract, however, the club remains under pressure to balance the books. If Grealish does leaves Villa Park, we understand the club would be looking to recoup around £40m.
40 Million pound !?!?!?!?!

Paper talk. Villa have admitted they want to sell. They'll get him around 10M end of the window

Very badly word piece, what they mean is that Villa have to find £40m to balance the books not £40m for Grealish

Having re read it I think you are right
Villa fans are however saying that he's worth at least 30.... still an embarrassment.

With Mahrez on the move wouldn't be surprised, fee is a bit off the mark.

Great player... But if he wasn't English he'd be costing less than £10m.

Villa’s valuation is jacked up by the financial hole they find themselves in. Be lucky to get 10 mil for the arrogant little boy. Villa are bent over a barrel and every club knows it so they have absolutely no bargaining power. It’s a sad state of affairs but I have no sympathy for clubs who spend big, beyond their means. It may have taken Tan and co five years to deliver a return to top flight, but I truly believe we are doing things the right way since Warnock turned the clubs organizational culture around. Villa want to ask if they can have a copy of his hymn sheet!
