Zinedine Zidane has quit as Real Madrid manager - The Courier

Thursday 31st May 2018

Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane is said to have quit his job at the Bernabeu.

The 45-year-old Frenchman called a surprise press conference on Thursday afternoon after leading the Spanish giants to their fourth Champions League trophy in five years – and third under his management – by masterminding victory over Liverpool in Kiev on Saturday.

However, Los Blancos could only finish third in LaLiga.

The club posted a website statement which said the boss would speak to the media at 1pm local time (12pm BST).

Spanish media is reporting that Zidane has quit his job as head coach, while The Independent claim to have received confirmation of the news from a source.

ALL HAPPENING AT REAL MADRID

Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo are both looking for moves away from Real Madrid with teams lining up for there signature, PSG are lining up a bid for Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United look the most likley destination for Gareth Bale.

But that is not all as manager of the Spanish Giants has left the club after recently winning the Champions League Final.

You have to say if both Bale and Ronaldo do leave the club Real Madrid will be far behind of rivals FC Barcelona in the hunt for the Santander La Liga title

Is it a shock? Real managers very rarely last more than 3 yrs and he's got nothing else to prove there so it's time to move on while going is good! Besides he can let new man have problems of bale/ Renaldo :old:
