' Jacks get more miles and more expensive tickets next season '

How does it compare to their mileage in the Premier League?

There are inevitably more miles to cover in the Championship due to there being four additional away fixtures compared to the 19 that is the norm in the Premier League.

Even allowing for that there is a considerable difference with a number of trips to Yorkshire, the north-west and those aforementioned hauls over to East Anglia.

Last season, a Swansea fan heading to all 19 away games in the top-flight would have covered a pinch shy of 8,000 miles.

But that figure would have fallen this season had Swansea stayed up because, even if you added up the distances to all 20 of the top-flight sides - remember you would lose one to make 19 away games, the total mileage is 7,673.2.

How will ticketing arrangements work?

In the Premier League there was a collective agreement between the sides to subsidise away ticket prices in the division.

That saw tickets capped at £30, while Swansea further subsidised tickets for Jack Army members by another £10.

However, there is no such agreement in the Championship.

Having said that, last year’s BBC Price of Football Study had the average most-expensive Championship away ticket as £31.69, while cheapest prices averaged out at £22.42.

Hull City offered the cheapest away ticket at £12, Sheffield Wednesday the most expensive at £42.

Swansea City are hoping to confirm all ticketing details for the coming season - for both home and away fixtures - shortly.

So Swansea City subsidised their fans away tickes in the Premier and they only had to pay £20 max for an away ticket.

Wait till they go to Leeds £43, Sheff Wed £40, Ipswich £35.

Not many will travel with the Swans and I'm actually surprised at the number who have already said they will not be re-purchasing their season tickets for next year!

Seems some of them are even returning to the CCS after abandoning us in 2015

Can't possibly see what their motivation is? Can you? ;) :laughing6: :laughing6:
