Premier fees and wages are what they are and there's not much can be done about it. Even if he spends around £50m we will be feeding off scraps and he'll still have around £150m to pocket.
I hope all this talk by Warnock is bluster to put the vultures off and not some wild fantasy of Roy of the Rovers stuff on a shoestring budget.

There is so such thing as bouncing right back up from the Championship. It’s the hardest Division to get out of and going straight back up is rare (e.g. Newcastle).
If you work so hard to get there why not give it a go instead of being relegated straight back down. With very little investment the writing is on the wall. Neil Warnock however good a manager he is cannot do the impossible I.e. compete against established teams that have been in the Premiership year after year. There are only a small pool of clubs that realistically we have a chance of finishing above and even those clubs are strengthening on what they had last year.
I for one who waited so long to see Premiership football do not want to get relegated at the first time of asking again.

As our running costs are currently in the region of £40 million that still leaves £90 million to play with and still break even. £40 million for transfers to bring in five new players and say max of £15 million to cover their wages and that of the odd loan player will still leave plenty over to fund the inevitable rise in wages of current players and still make a profit of £10 to £20 million. This will give us a fighting chance of making an impact. However should go down we will have sufficient reserves along with the parachute payment to be in a strong position to mount another challenge.
Anything less and its an indication that Tan wants his money back asap.

To be fair mate, he’s been keeping the club afloat for the last 3 years so I’ve no complaints if he ‘pockets’ the cash - particularly if he turns debt to equity as promised.
Whatever happens, it has to be a better experience than last time we were in the Prem....and we’re in blue!!

Might be of interest to some. Just look at what the likes of Huddersfield and Newcastle etc spent. Small budget and smart loans can work out better than the likes of Everton or West Ham spending a small fortune and finding themselves at the wrong end of the table.
