Could Marko Grujic finally be a permanent Cardiff player?

Tue May 29, 2018 12:00 am

Liverpool just recruited Fabinho who is realistically the position Grujic would have played. Similar players but obviously different levels of quality. Can't see that being Liverpools only midfield signing. So when you consider Liverpool will have Fabinho, maybe another recruit, Wijnaldum, The Ox, Milner, Henderson... The only way realistically Grujic will be play a part next season for Liverpool is if he's on the bench and probably not even on the team sheet at all for most games. If a couple players get injured I still can't see Grujic getting a look in. They will be far more prepared next season after what happened this season.

I think Liverpool would be more than satisfied with a decent bid for him, maybe just to make their money back something like 6/7 Mil. Despite what I've read on here in the past, I still think he's probably our best FOOTBALLER and combined with his height and ability to tackle and read the game quite well, can't see us getting anyone near that quality for that sort of money. He has a mistake in him sure he does, but like I keep bringing up, it's not a coincidence we went on a 9 game winning streak / 13 games unbeaten streak - when Grujic came into the 11.

They have also signed Nabi Keita for their midfield. Grujic is getting nowhere near the team now.

dont see it happening myself..Warnock seemed to lose patience with him on the run in and when he did bring him on at Hull he then had to take him off again.....

He was yellow carded and looked likely to pick up another.

Not worth paying big money for but if we could get him cheap or on a season long loan it would be worth doing. Not sure if Warnock rates him that highly though.
