I've only seen him a few times this season but in the two games against us I thought he was extremely average and I wouldn't have swapped him for Morrison, Bamba or Manga.

Need people who can improve on what we've got and for me I don't think he's good enough.

I don’t rate him any better than what we got

I’d take him as good competition. Wouldn’t think he’d cost anywhere upwards of £8m due to Villa supposedly having to sell off players. Has played in the Premier League, FA Cup final and of course that summer in France.

He' s also played for villa all season if he was that poor he would' nt have held down his place and i have seen enough of him over the season's not just because he' s welsh but have watched him and would have him as a good cover and competition unless you want to start paying silly money for defenders i just think with the welsh connection it could be a easy fit for him at a reasonable price

He’s certainly good enough as he plays well at International level and has played at Premier League before,would be good with either Morrison or Bamba but very much like Manga and unless we sell one of our centre backs would rather go for Ginge on a free or an up and coming centre back like Brentford’s Welsh International?

Agree with this especially as we’ve got Manga as back up centre half if Morrison and Bamba are our first choices.
