Transfer business is expected to take place earlier this year, with the window opening on the 9th May and closing on the 9th August, one week before the season begins.

Personally I believe one of the major factors to our success this season was we completed our transfer business early.
Perhaps this was the reason we got off to a flyer with our new guys impressing everyone. However the job will be a lot harder this time around. Yes we are now in the Premier but we will need to go for Premier standard players instead of looking at the lower league players with something to prove.

I disagree , we went down this route last time ie medel , caulker etc
Plenty of really good top championship players who could step up. NW will find them and not break what we already have.
Remember the disaster ole was in the first few weeks of the championship , a defence as wide open as the river Severn.
Keep the squad together, build with quality and perhaps a sprinkling of the like of McArthur etc .
If the worst happens we have a better squad for the following year.
Burnley did this and look at them now, let’s not fritter away this money as we did last time on excessive fees and wages.

I don't know about anybody else but I am busting to see NML terrify some of the prem defenders, I think if he keeps his fitness and works on his end product pre-season we can have a real force on our hands.

NW likes to get them in early so that he can take them to Cornwall to bond
