As for expanding stadium at a reported
50m who in right mind would spend that on a building they only leased for 37yrs? :laughing6:

They couldn't afford it. Its been turned into allotments. Seriously they are in one huge financial mess. There'll be swinging non playing staff cuts within days. There's no way the new owners bought into this. £ 60 million + drop in income overnight.

Mawson apart, a pretty much worthless squad on huge salaries making a clear out difficult and costly. They are in as bad a situation as any team relegated from the premiership in the last 10 years, with the possible exception of Portsmouth. if you look at the current squad where does £ 50 million plus in player wages go ?

Its very bleak down west, while a second bottle of champagnes on ice up in the east.

Their problem is they don't have the type of squad to compete in top end championship! Not sure got the manager either so whilst got parachute payments it's fact got to change the squad to suit chamionship and the cost incurred that will hinder them. Lucky to be top half next season :old:

They might get lucky with a managerial appointment. They've apparently got a crop of talented youngsters coming through. They'll probably still have many of the misfiring stars from this year although even if though they'll be paying the wages they might not be playing. The real problem for now is off the field. Far too many people stealing a living off Swansea and it'll take a few years to get them out of the system. I'm certain the current ownership wont have the stomach for it.
Administration inside 2 years wouldn't surprise me in the slightest

Lucky with manager? Mmmm thats been their problem what is it 6 managers in 8 yrs or something ridiculous? Same with players to stay in premiership you need to invest in new players every season all they've done us replace players they've sold and usually with inferior ones at that ! Take look at teams relegated past 10yrs from premiership and bet find quite a few who had same policy, like Sunderland it catches up after couple years and relegation comes :old:
