Still think it would be a waste of money.

Will they also finish the stand. The hospitality area is all concrete. They will want to cash in on that. Also put something on the front of the Stand. In the plans it had Cardiff city like the grand stand.

You are clearly still loving the re brand if you do not want those diabolical red seats gone. It wont cost you a penny so why are you saying such utter bollox.

Full house, no one sees the damn seats. Change them down the road when we expand another tier. Time for some fans to get a grip. Rebrand was years ago, umpteen apologies ago and millions of Tans’ pounds ago - let it go and enjoy what’s coming!

I hope Tan gets rid of them. The rebrand has gone but the red seats are a very glaring reminder of it.

Dont really care about the red seats anymore to be honest.

The white seats however in the shape of the ayatollah logo are terrible and can't wait not to see most of those again.

2 quid off each fan would do it!

The club read this board, I think it will happen, Dallman, Choo, and Tan want the club reunited and moving forward, they will have the sense to do this I am sure !!!

It will cost a relatively small amount, and it will give Tan another opportunity to confirm we have all moved on together

But it's a pointless cost. Like someone above said. If/when we extend in future. Do it then

I remember someone saying it would have cost nearly £2m to change the whole stadium seats to red a few years ago that's why they didn't do it, i'm guessing even to change approx 5k red seats to blue would cost around £300k so the money is probably best spent elsewhere....

Since the rebrand they have more represented Wales being at the stadium. I'd rather get rid of the \o/ <o> \o/ see if you could put Wales or Cymru across it. Would be cheaper.

We are Cardiff City in blue.
Make the stadium blue again.
Vincent Tan has said the rebrand was a mistake.
In that case the red seats are a mistake.
We are one. Make the stadium as one.
Then we can all forget about the rebrand.

£60 a seat ??

More like £10, I would have thought, £50K to keep the fans happy, bladders !!!

Surely it would be worth doing.

Do you base your £10 on anything?

No just a guess for two bits of plastic which could be mass produced in China ?

I would have thought nearer £10 than £60 ?

It would be cheap I would have thought, and they look stupid now that everything ele is blue, it points out the mistakes of the past.

have to pay someone to rip out 5k worth of seats and replace them... probably costs more than buying the seats.

Not much.
And it would be so worth it.

Re: red seasts

To be fair the blueprint on the plans for the stadium had 2 other stand to build but never got to it. So they might bring in another 2 stand but I doubt it, as soon as we survive the premier league then further development will happen at the stadium.

In terms of the red seats i am not sure they will replace then with blue as our national side Wales play there and it would be weird without red seats for Wales. So all this is further down in the plans but as soon as we survive upgrades will happen to our stadium.

As I've said before, give the under 18s a screwdriver each and move the red seats to the away stand and vice versa, problem solved

Wales will be playing many games at the Principality thanks to Giggsy.
Its our stadium and we are blue.
Not red.

I have it on good authority that seats in the ninian will remain red as they watch over the cold blue seats, kits wont be changed, badge has the right colour blend for maximum luck at this latitude. Tan is sure he's finally found the right colour combination for a good fweng shei in the northern hemisphere.
