Doesn't sound like hit and hope to me. Your tippy tappy football was not good enough for automatic football. It seems our power, pace, organisation, wide play..... And no little skill was more effective than your flowery

Our tactics were to try and get more points than 22 other teams and it worked.

Final stat is they had only +5 goal difference advantage after 46 games so they didn't do as well as they believe they did ? We had the organisation and will power to get results where it mattered they didn't it's that simple

We also won 2 more games than them. Just to be sure I checked the EFL rules regarding promotion. They said nothing about the style football required to gain promotion, but they did mention that you have to get more points than the third placed side. I think we managed to do that, didn't we?
