There's no prayer of getting clyne. But the rest are possible. I'd go for Defoe and ings. Mitrovic has failed at prem level. Also celtic have some good defenders who would be in our price bracket

Fair point about Clyne but Mitrovic is a premier league striker and would thrive at a club like ours where as at Newcastle he couldn’t handle the ‘big’club mentality.

No doubting that the wages would be high but both are roughly 32 now. Neither will be first teamers for a top team and with getting them on a free it makes up for the high wages

I didn't say they will keep him. I questioned the free transfer

Don't get me wrong, he's a great player. But 1) he's not going to be a free transfer 2) he probably earns around 80k a week

Has anyone thought about Tadic ? Awesome at set pieces and a great link up player.
Would work well with Mitrovic if we could manage to get him aswell.
If we cant get Mitra my other suggestions would be Charlie Austin, Matty Phillips, Ryan Woods, Daniel Ayala and Greg Cunningham.
