Not Going To Talk About This Now

But........debating Premier quality players for City to buy will be fascinating. What with a longer than usual World Cup and the new season starting soon after its wonderful. A great antidote to f***ing Wimbledon, Cricket and Golf. :bluescarf:

No doubt the blood sucking agents will already be out in force

Warnock needs to be ruthless, no time for sentimentality. Plainly obvious we need better quality to compete next season.

Agree totally, that's what did for Malky. Fortunately, Warnock is much more streetwise and ruthless and I don't expect him to make the same mistake. I forsee wholesale changes except for a small kernel of players

Don't want overpaid players coming to Cardiff. Took us years to get rid of the big earners.

Ramsey, Bale, Allen, Aguero should do it

I'd say the opposite to be honest. Arguably we'd have been better off keeping Rudy over Acorn and dropping Hudson for Caulker was a terrible call that left us without true leadership we needed in a scrap.

I hope he's as loyal as possible. This group of players deserve it. I reckon quite a few would cut it in the top flight.

Can't see us getting Aguero mate.

He needs to be ruthless and I think he will.

Agree our success has been built on building a team that will run through walls for each other. Ripping that apart now would be madness.

I remember a lot of people saying something similar last August.....

I totally agree. Even if we didn't bring in anyone got relegated this club would still be much better off than it has been for years, because we would have a good Championship squad, brilliant Championship manager, £100m plus parachute payments.

I would prefer that to throwing money at journeymen players who are simply here for a pay day and we end up losing £m's paying them off. Also we have FFP to think of in case we do return quickly to the Championship.

I would leave it all to Warnock and give him an absolute assurance that his job is safe no matter what happens next year.

My plan would be for the next 5 years where we may at times become a yo-yo club but with a view to building a strong Cardiff City which will eventually become an established PL side.

I completely disagree with your second statement there, sorry.

Etheridge
Peltier
Morrison
Manga
Bamba
Bennett
Gunnarsson
Ralls
Bryson
Paterson
Mendez-Laing
Hoilett
Zohore
All the above are good enough to be in and around the first team next season, for me.

Murphy
Richards
Traore
Damour
K. Harris
D. Ward
I would say these are the players I would be happy to keep in an around the squad, as backup options.

Camp
Connolly
Halford
Grujic
Tomlin
Feeney
Wildschut
J. Ward
Healey
Pilkington
Gounongbe
Bogle
Madine (maybe)
I suspect the above players will all leave, which will leave approx 4, 5, at most 6 players to bring in for competion.

A goalkeeper
A centre back
2 centre midfielders
A winger
A striker

A few names I would like to see us go for are Jordan Hugill, Philip Billing, maybe Danny Ward at Liverpool, although I trust Warnock's judgement, whoever he goes for. He often sees ability in players, which others don't, that he could get the best out of.

We definitely need another left back and in my opion a first choice right back.

Agree with this. Pelts is a decent back up option so a 1st team right back needed. 3 Centre backs are fine to compete for 2 places... Bennett 1st choice left back so only a reserve left back needed...

A top drawer centre mid and striker is essential to improve the team
