Very much a warnock player. Proven premier league player.

Cardiff eye £12.5m bid for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon if they secure promotion to the Premier League, Neil Warnock wants to sign Salomon Rondon if Cardiff are promoted this term However, competition for the Venezuelan striker is set to be fierce

West Brom are likely to face a summer fire sale if they are relegated

Manager Neil Warnock has identified the robust Venezuela international should Cardiff seal promotion against Reading on Sunday.

Rondon has a relegation release clause set at £16.5million but Cardiff are likely to offer £12m plus add-ons in a bid to sign the 28-year-old. However, they will face competition from top flight rivals.

Enquiries have already been made to West Brom as they brace themselves for a fire sale should they be relegated.

Rondon, Nacer Chadli, Jay Rodriguez, James McClean, Craig Dawson and Jonny Evans are among the players attracting interest though Albion may struggle to achieve their optimum values where clauses don't exist.

I suspect this story is bollocks, but I do think he’d be a good signing for us, actually. Would fit into our current setup well.

I watched him a few times at Malaga. Think we need to buy quite a few players for next season. Are we willing to spend that much on one player?

What did you think of him? Ben Fosters brother is married to a friend of mine, and he thinks he’s turd (the brother that is. Although I’d have thought Ben would’ve put him right if he thought otherwise).

Great player, but if we have that to spend on a WBA player I would go for Marty Phillips! Would be perfect for us! Also Craig Dawson..think there will be a lot of clubs sniffing for him!

One thing for sure, the teams comming down will have some good players to look at.

Maybe Glen Johnson from Stoke could be an option?
