Lucky lucky Swansea

95th minute Everton equaliser has probably just kept them up giving the remaining fixtures.

Not sure it mattered much.

Southampton only needed a point to swing it in their favour. It's in their hands now due to a better goal difference.

Matches left

Swansea - Southampton, Stoke

Southampton - Swansea,Man City

Huddersfield - Man C,Chelsea,Arsenal

Even if they lose to southampton they would likely stay up by beating Stoke at home.
Cant see huddersfield getting any more points either.

Yeah but the difference is only 2.
Southampton have to play man city and that score could be anything. Likely the jacks will now go above southampton even if they lose to them by beating a poor stoke team last game.
Man city will have a big effect on that goal difference

Only difference that goal as done is that southampton can still be caught by swans if swans win on Tues, otherwise shampton would have needed just a draw to stay up due to goal difference? Going to be a nervy game Tues that's for sure, what's interesting is wba they have got themselves into equation so it's not only huddersfield that effects swans if they lose Tues

Goal difference is 7. A win at Swansea makes it at least 8.

Had Southampton won they would still need to beat Swansea or they would be looking for a draw with Man City.

Southampton have a 7+ goal difference on swansea? If Southampton had won they would needed just a draw surely?

At 2:30pm tomorrow I’ll decide if I’d like the Jacks to stay up

True but can you play for a draw when the other side are desperate for the points.

It's winner takes all next week.

I read the table wrong.
But how many of those 7 goals will get eaten away by Man City next week ?
To be fair looking at the table again i can see Huddersfield dropping out now. They are very unlikely to get anything from the games left and swansea should get something from there two left

Could be 9 if Saints win midweek.

that's why today's result by Southampton is devistating if win they would have just needed a draw on Tues now a win is a must for them due to man c game with swans at Stoke! But then it's a must win for swans or wba could catch them :old:

The Jacks are gone. After watching the 2 games today and listening to the pundits on the other 2.

I can see them losing to Southampton and Stoke. West brom to beat Palace.

Stoke, Swansea and Huddersfield to go down

Well Tues is must win for both and your right swans are so defensive got to wonder how they will score a goal to win any game, :old:

If Southampton beat Swansea then only Huddersfield can be caught by Swansea. Southamptin are in a good run and i fancy them to turn Swansea over on Tuesday.

Reckon they will get a result v saints, they always seem to right at the death. That idiot who got sent off for Southampton on 85 mins might have a lot to answer for.

No they haven't. A Southampton win would have put them down, but as it ended in a draw WBA can still survive.

its a 10 goal swing required...not 9
9 would give them equal goal difference but would put Southampton above them on goals scored..
