VINCE ALM: “ THIS SUNDAY CARDIFF CITY V READING :bluebird:

Hi to all my Cardiff City friends out there hope you are all relaxed ready for Sunday last league fixture of the campaign.

There are calls for the club to do all sorts of things prior to kick off and during the match, also fans marching to the ground like Celtic and Rangers supporters do, however speaking to some of the players on Tuesday evening, they are looking to treat this as any other league fixture.

probably the best thing for us to do is get in the ground early and start the singing when they are warming up, and show there are no nerves amongst the supporters (even though there maybe) The worst thing that could happen as normally happens with early kick offs is everyone turns up late are nervous and quiet which might transmit itself on the pitch.

Lets try and get as many of us as possible in there 30 minutes before kick off, like the Man City first game in the premier league and start ramping the singing up. You could see the difference positive support makes at the previous home games against Nottingham Forest, and Wolves, even though we missed the pens! Also Hull away last week.

So lets get in there early and get behind the boys

100% agree with this
We don’t need a march
Just rev up the atmosphere early in the ground
Atmosphere against forest was one of the best all season with only 22,000 in there

Too many on here treating this game as if all we have to do is turn up, job done!
Far from it!
Get in the ground, make some noise, support the boys!
Win the game and get promoted!
THEN is the time to celebrate, NOT before!

I must be mellowing as I get older, I think this is the first time I've ever agreed with Vince Alm.

We have to remember that this is Cardiff City and last game of the season. How often have we all watched Jeff and seen the drama unfold on the last day? I hope the drama is the playoffs and relegation spots and not us.

Agree! We certainly don't need a choir, most of our players are not Welsh, let's leave that stuff for the Welsh games. We're Cardiff City, we're loud and proud. Let's have loads of Cardiff City chants and songs and let's ramp up the atmosphere to fever pitch :ayatollah:

Christ alive, you're all flapping already!

Do this, don't do that!

Let's just enjoy it, if people wana March and ramp up the atmosphere the crack on. We've been signing the national anthem for ages now, it sounds great. Even warnock said he loves it!

End of the day the players are going to walk out to a full stadium of cheering bluebirds and it's up to them to do the business, not us.

We have a HUGE part to pay on Sunday. The acronym KISS springs to mind - Keep It simple stupid- no marches - no choirs etal.

We need to arrive early, sing our guts out, get behind the team regardless of what else is going on elsewhere (this is hard but fundamental, don't get on at players etc.

They deserve everything we can give them and I am sure they will deliver back.

The biggest game in my 43 years supporting the Bluebirds

Let us pray......... :bluebird:
