A forum for all things Cardiff City

I renewed my season ticket earlier this week and I was surprised to see that almost the whole stadium had sold out for next season. [or so I thought]
I thought that all the grayed out areas on the e-ticketing stadium plan meant that the seats had been sold, but then I spoke to a friend who said he was waiting until the club started selling season tickets for the top tier of the Ninian Stand before he would renew? Apparently they haven't gone on sale yet?
I am probably being too much of a capitalist for saying this and I'm probably at risk of getting punched in the face by Antifa... But why the hell are the club doing this?
Why don't they capitalize on the hype surrounding Sunday and try to sell as many season tickets as possible? Put them all on sale and it we don't go up, at least we'll get monster crowds next season and bring a lot more money into the club.
I don't understand why the club would hold back on selling season tickets, when they may not get a chance to sell them at all if we don't get promoted...

Where you too? I want to punch you in the face! Haha
I think its more down to a stewarding. Trying to save money.

Guess there isn't the demand at moment to open upper ninian stand! Anyway bit late now to open it but at least if promoted won't have trouble selling most if not all seats

We have not sold all tickets in the main bowl as of yet so why would the club increase their costs by opening the upper.
I believe the middle will be along side the ricoh in terms of premium prices so come sunday and IF we go up it could be a free for all with many dissapointed.

And if they do open the upper Ninian it's going to be on a new pricing structure. Expect a big increase if we go up.
