Emphatically no! Just get the best on merit and what our budget can afford. If they happen to be Welsh that's fine, if they're not Welsh that's fine too.

I'd love to see it - but I agree that the right player is more important that nationality.

But..... if we did look at Welsh players and play a similar style of football I could see realistically:
HRK being a useful player for us; strong, hard working, bit of pace, can play across the front three. Also, not getting games at WBA.
Vokes would make a great target man (although not mobile enough to be a lone striker). He's also not a nailed on starter at Burnley
Gunter would be better than our current right back options.
Ledley would also be a great addition to out midfield particularly is Gunnars leaves.
Danny Ward would be great but in all honesty Etheridge has improved so much it would be wrong to bring in a new no. 1.

I think others would either be too much cash, not want to come here, or wouldn't fit in with our style. For example, Ampadu may be a realistic shout on loan but I wouldn't play him over Bamba / Morrison and I'm not sure he's a dynamic enough central midfielder for out style of play.

I'd love to have Ginge back for a season with us in the Prem though. He's a proper Warnock style defender and we could sling him up front when we're chasing games!

I don't think he's a better centre half; a better footballer yes.
