" Cardiff City Season ticket deadline "

Big price increases to come or scare tactics to get lots sold? Probably a bit of both.

Message from the club...

Bluebirds fans looking to secure a 2018/19 Season Ticket are encouraged to do so ahead of this Sunday's 12.30pm kick-off with Reading.

Please note that Season Tickets will be temporarily taken off sale at this point. Those wishing to purchase a 2018/19 Season Ticket after this time will be able to do so at a later date, with full details, including pricing, to follow in due course.

now would be a good time to give out the figure for number of season tickets sold (inc corp seats) so as fans can work it out for themselves....then decide.

At present there are only educated guesses doing the rounds.......let's have the current figure please

“ CARDIFF CITY FANS NEED TO BUY THEM NOW “

A large percentage of the fans attending sundays game are already known to the club.

Having previously held season tickets or attended matches in the past. For whatever reason and it’s always a debate, they do come but not every match.

What it does highlight is the massive fan base still out there and I have always said we have.

If Cardiff can pull it off, I was told that the season ticket sales will go quicker than the match tickets for Reading home, they are currently 18,000 plus for next Season, so fans should get them, Not moan later.

Not an exact figure but they are expecting 26,000 Season tickets to be made available. I don’t blame them for pushing it but what is being said is the proof is in the pudding how quick the tickets sold.

Many fans have been left disappointed, but the tickets for last game have been on sale for four months, so only themselves to blame. They are convinced the same will happen and many fans will be left disappointed at not being able to get season ticket. Get them now would be my advise. I find these conversations difficult as a game is still to be played.

Neil Warnock has constantly said that if we fail to get promotion then he is staying to have another go next season - surely a good enough reason to buy a Season Ticket even if we are in the Championship!

Premiership aways are too expensive man. What happened to the twenty-is-plenty campaign?

Oh I was under the impression it had been implemented by every club apart from arsenal. That's a shame if it isn't considering every club is taking 200m minimum just for tv. Even if we are in championship there's a few always I want to do. Missed out on Leeds, Wednesday, deepdale. Would like to cross them off the list at some point

Clever by the club, get as many sold as possible now incase we don't go up.

If we do chuck another £100 of them

Why not? What’s stopping them? It’s a cracking win win situation for the club I think. People that want to go watch Cardiff City next season should buy their ST now to guarantee their seat at the early bird prices whether we get to the premier league or not. Those that wait until if/when we get promoted so they can go and watch their beloved Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, etc etc should be made to pay more. Excellent move from the club and I say well done :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Of course they can and no doubt they will if we go up.

They added £30 on if you didn't buy before the previous deadline so what makes you think they wont add a chunk on if we go up. Its a new product they are selling then and will come with a new price.

Hang on sec, I thought u mean that even those of us who previously purchased would have to also pay a little more.

The fact of the matter is that 2018/19 season tickets have been on sale since March 1st, & the club is completely within their rights to review the current sales situation accordingly.

No Ross, I mean those that don’t normally go and now because we are on the brink of the Premier League decide to get a season ticket, but I know some that will not buy one until it’s confirmed we are promoted, I say those shouldn’t get the benefit of purchasing a ST for the same price as somebody that bought one 4 weeks ago.
Also if you already bought one then of course they can’t charge you more

Got mine the 1st day they went on sale because I'm a Bluebird through and through. Anyone in any doubt about what it means to support your club should read this, if you are real fan it will hit the spot.

There's hardly any for sale. A few in the Canton Ninian corner and the grandstand. That's it. If they were serious about selling a load more before Sunday they need to open more of the ground.

To be honest Ill only buy if we go up. I'm too old to be flying up and down the M4 every other Saturday but I like to be sure that when away tickets are in short supply I'm likely to get one.

Exactly, it really gets my goat up. Don’t get me wrong, I will always welcome new fans but I don’t have any time for people that will only go and support us if we play in the prem when in actual fact they are only going to watch the so called elite teams of the Premier League

Agree that's perfectly fair, I would whack another £150 on, show your loyalty and commitment or be prepared to pay a lot more for being a glory hunter !!!

Our campaign is still ongoing but we have got the Premier league to cap the prices to £30 maximum for away fans which was a big help
