Why? Theres 21 other sides who would love to get their hands on it. Playoff winners get a trophy, so why shouldnt runners up? Especially this season having to make 90 plus points, more impressive than the championship winning side

It will apparently be in the CCS on Sunday. If we get 2nd, we can lift it on the day - if Fulham get 2nd, they will have to wait.

The players, Neil and everyone behind the scenes have worked their bollocks off this season.

After being written off by absolutely everyone for a top 6 finish, let alone a top 2 (potentially), I'm more than happy for the team to receive a trophy they can show off and parade around the pitch after all they have given this year. Coming 2nd isn't bad or something to hide is it? Teams would love to be in this position. Lets give the players something they can be proud of.

There are normally Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes so why not now?

Agreed whoever finishes 2nd and gets auto promotion deserves a trophy and the recognition too !!!

Im not saying we dont deserve recognition and i know what an achievment 2nd would be. But lifting a trophy when we havent won the league is very odd. Just my opinion

Runner up in most sports get medals. As for the trophy why not, we will have finished higher than 22 other teams in the league, quite some achievement considering where we were under Trollope. Warnock should have a special medal made twice as big as all the other.

I suppose if you ever achieved anything like this in front of 33,000 fans you would refuse to hold it.

IF, if we do win it, I would think Fulham would be cringing...not us.

I'd be happy to see us lift it. Whether you come 1st 2nd or win playoffs it's the same prize.
