How have we spent as much or more than Derby, they've spent £41mill ?
Cardiff only paid £2mill for Gary Madine & £1.5mill for Lee Tomlin.
Cardiff City![]()
Squad Cost: £14.6m
League Position: 2
2017/18 record signing: Gary Madine from Bolton Wanderers for £2m

its more about the overall squad cost not how much we spent this season.
This season we have spent more than derby and you have to include payments based on bonuses which makes madine a lot more than £2m
according to transfer market site (which i think this article was based off) us and derby both spent about 11m - but we have spent 9m net and derby have made 19m net

Good point but which ever way we look at things it doesn't change the fact Warnock is amazing
