Please Tell Me It's All Going To Be Fine.

Mon Apr 30, 2018 8:20 pm

Never felt so nervoous about a game in all my life.

Even though it's all in our hands, at home, the bookies in our corner, Reading fans in our corner, I find myself annoyed when I see a positive post.

The QPR play off I was excited all week long, Blackpool at Wembley I looked forward to it. All I remember of the Championship winning season is smiling all season long.

So, why the hell am I a bag of nerves? There's another 6 bloody days of this. I may need drugs.

We’re all nervous lad. But with a full house and loads of noise we can do this. We have Warnock, the league’s finest managed and an unrivalled team spirit. Sure we do stuff the hard way but we’re Cardiff city. Gonna be one hell of a game mate, let’s shout on our lads to the prem. Bluebirds!

I'm hoping this thread can be a safe zone for us nervous types and some positivity councillors.

As long as the players don’t feel the nerves on the day, I think we’ll be ok.

Very nervous myself, and I’d expect the fans to deal with the nerves by making a lot of noise.

An early goal will do wonders for the fans and the team.

An early goal or two please , maybe if we are 4-0 up at half time ,I'll relax.
Then I remember Peterborough.
So winning at full time , then I'll relax :)

Reading picked up 15 points since January 1st, only team worse in the whole league is Sunderland

Trying to find positives to help the nerves ...

Look At it this way If Last Saturday was the final game Away to Hull you might have thought it will be very tough ,Well you went there and won 2-0 Now your at home to a shockingly Bad reading team and with a sell out crowd your going to smash it.Also as back up Brum will be playing to stay up with a sell out crowd, What can go wrong :ayatollah:

I know it seem's to be in our DNA to f**k things up, but we never had Neil Warnock in the past. "it's all going to be fine"

I was at Peterborough - but they were Dave Jones' chokers, not Neil's fighters.

I see his point of view mind. I’m 60 this year, semi retired and not sleeping properly over a football match! But with all those 50+ years as a City supporter you can’t help thinking “they’re going to f—k it up”!

I know they shouldn’t, but I can’t help it,!

That's the problem. I've got about 45 years of support and still remember how we could grab defeat from the jaws of success be it on the field or in the boardroom

BUT recent years should have reworked my mindset and I must admit this thread has done the trick along with seeing bookies odds, plus Reading and Fulham fans resignations.

We are going to do it. Recent years have seen cup Finals, play off wins and now two promotion to the top flight.

It's going to be fine !!!

After an edgy 43mins Morrison will score the first :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Mendez the second, Madine to come on and score the third from a header, the Stadium will go go mad :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Three-nil, and Fulham will have drawn anyway !!!! :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
