You should read Warnocks book mate, he explains what was going on behind the scenes that summer / total mess, not caused by him. As a summery he couldn't sign any of the players he wanted, and 90% of the signings were made on the last day of the transfer window as only then had Tony Fernandez bought the club. It was also interesting to read the results his team had at the beginning of that season some good away wins and were steadily picking up points - not in relegation. It was only when the agent of the Chelsea defender Alex (Kia Jarabcan? Excuse spelling) double crossed him and pushed Mark Hughes forward to replace him it went wrong. So please don't judge him too much on that season and transfer dealings.

I've read his book.
In the end whatever happened pre season tied in with a total change of squad led to Warnock being sacked.
They would not have stabbed him in the back if QPR hadn't gone 8 games without a win through to January.
You just know there is going to be a change made st that point.

He was frustrated because he lined up players and didn't get them due to delays, he ended up with an inferior squad.
I am sure now he has plans ready and waiting for Championship or Premiership additions, and i'm pretty sure Tan and Dalman will back him with a reasonable budget.

He had a low budget and turned us from a relegation team to an automatic/play off team in 18 months. He has only had one full window, the January transfer windows are a difficult time to get any players.
The vast majority of players signed in the full window have been good, with a couple of let downs, mostly Tomlin.
