Just wondering after reading that people were buying season tickets last time City went up and only using them when the so called big teams came down and the rest of the time the seats were empty why don’t the club offer first refusal to the fans who turn up Sunday as l can’t see that non City fans would turn up for this game

They've got first refusal. They have been on sale nearly 2 months

Totally agree with Sid, if you've got the means to buy a season ticket after Sunday, you've got the means to buy one now.....no excuses, get one before the weekend to avoid disappointment.

if the club decide to keep upper ninian for pay on the day , which i what i would do, there wont be many season tickets left come monday morning in the main bowl.
would make sound business sense keeping them non season ticket seats as you would not be getting tickets at £18 each for the big games , AGAIN IF WE GO UP

I think the point he is making is there will be empty seats Sunday because some will have bought season tickets for next season to watch the big games and may not be interested in little old Reading

I went there yesterday at 14:30 and bought two season tickets, the time I was in there [ 10 minutes ] they had sold 7 season tickets over the counter, and the phone seem buzzy

Buying a season ticket for next year wont get him in on Sunday. If someone has bought a ticket for Sunday then they'll almost certainly use it. There may be some season ticket holders who cant make it due to having other commitments but that's the case with any game.
It is an issue and I'm not sure of the way out. If we go up I will buy 2 season tickets and to be honest I doubt I'll get to more than half the home games. The seats got used by relatives and the last time they were pretty much close to a 100% occupied for the premier league but nothing like as much for the 10 or seasons either side of that. I would prefer to take pot luck on the 3,000 or so much day tickets but the problem for me is that last time we were up they prioritised season ticket holders over members for away tickets. I do the majority of away games.

If you have bought a season ticket for next season it doesn't mean you get a ticket for Sunday surely? I bought season tickets for me and my daughter 6 weeks ago.. Anyway I'm up in north Wales Sunday which I'm devastated about but I will be watching on the tv..That will have to do.
